Bad People As Driving Force

As the title suggests this post is about the importance of bad people in our life. But first, I want to clarify that it is not some sort of spiritual lecture that says 'love your enemy' or 'forgiveness is the highest virtue'(though I'm not against it).And it's neither a war strategy to combat your enemy (that I might discuss in some other blog :) )
My purpose of writing this post is to alter your perspective about how you see the bad people. So that you could get maximum benefit from their presence & thrive not instead but because of them.

We all have people in our life who are not so good, who are manipulative, treacherous & give us lot of mental & physical pain. It could be your boss, some relative or even a friend. We often complain about them. We sometimes think that the world would be much better if there would be no bad people. But is it true?
I’m going to deal with the two pertinent questions related to the bad people that we genrally ask.
Why has god created bad people who cause problems for the good ones?                                 The yin & yang are inseparable. If bad would not exist what would be the importance of good then?Actually it's the darker side that makes light really bright.Likewise if bad people did not exist, the challenge & charm of life will be gone. They help us mature, and make us more resistance & at the same time create sensitivity in us.If life were a bed of roses the mind would not have developed any awareness or sharpness to understand reality. If one does not get an opportunity to deal with complicated & difficult persons in life several faculties of the mind would not develop and the brain would not grow strong. So instead of despising individuals who create problems in our life, we should be thankful to them.Indirectly they contribute to our productivity.

What kind of treatment should be given to the bad?                                                                          'To the snake the guru advised not to bite anyone as the snake had turned into a devoted soul. But that does’t mean that it should stop hissing.Else others would kill it’.
Similarly,in self-defence one may have to put on a hard exterior despite being a kind & good person. The best thing one could do is to avoid them & remain at a safe distance from them.At the same time wish them no harm.At the most one may be careful so that there is minimum or no damage.
Without tough people & problems we won’t get better because we will then start thinking in a negative manner, causing harm to each other. And it has been observed time to time that destructive power of mind is much stronger then its constructive capacity.Problems are healthy for us as when we struggle, our efforts have a specific direction & objective. The mind concentrates & this enhances the ability of the mind to continue the journey.

The following lines that I came across long time back, gives me inspiration & solace in my hard time.I’m presenting it to you with the same hope :                                                           “From dirt emerges the beautiful lotus, from the scorching heat comes the shower of relief and from the depth of pain springs joy”

The Art Of Converting Adversity Into Advantage.

We humans have a tendency to judge everything. We tend to label every event of our life as good or bad-if we top an exam it's good,if we fail it's bad;if we win a lottery it's good,if we loose a job it's bad & so on.What we don't understand is that it's our preconceptions that are the problem. They tell us that things should or need to be a certain way,so when they are not,we naturally assume that we are at disadvantage. The truth is that for the human mind, everything that crosses its path can be a tool for power & expansion. We emerge stronger, sharper, empowered in overcoming the obstacles.
Instead of becoming discouraged & depressed by any kind of downturn, you must see this as a blessing in disguise that will makes it easier for you to move forward. It is a kind of mental alchemy, transforming poison into elixir.

All hindrances & problems are actually instruments for power. The reason is simple : negative energy that comes at you in some form is energy that can be turned around - to defeat an opponent & lift you up.when there is no such energy, there is nothing to react or push against;it is harder to motivate yourself.

You must adopt attitude that is the opposite to how most people think & operate.when things are going well, that is precisely when you must be concerned & vigilant. You know it won't last & you must not caught unprepared. When things are going badly, that is when you are most encouraged & fearless.

Nothing has any inherent meaning in itself other then what we put into it.Once we realised this fact it could be a source of real power.
Problems & setbacks are like fuel .You just don't want it.You need it.you can't go anywhere without it.No one or no thing can.So you should be grateful for them!

How To Create An Aura Around You: The Art of Social Intelligence

There are lots of extremely talented people who couldn’t succeed to their full potential because of the lack of social intelligence. They know their subject/work well, but lack the essential skills to deal with people maneuvers. The real world is harsh & ruthless where lacking on social intelligence is self deteriorating. Social intelligence & ability to create positive influence is one of  the key skill to get success in the present world.
The following four strategies will help you to maintain rational mind-set necessary for social intelligence & also helps you to create positive influence on others.I have learned these strategies through my own share of hardship & trails.I have applied(& still applying) these strategies in my own life & experienced the positive results.I am telling you this just to assured you that I  won’t suggest anything that I haven’t applied in my own life successfully.

1) Craft an attractive persona
No matter how inappropriate it feels, but the reality is that-people will always tend to judge you based on your outward appearance. If you are not careful & simply assume that it is best to be yourself, then they will begin to associate with you all kinds of qualities that have little to do with who you are but correspond to what they want to see in you!
Below are some tips that will help you to create an intriguing persona
a) Create mystery around you : Don’t be like an open book! The moment you tell or show everything about you, you will not only lose people interest but their respect also.
b) Dress well : Lots of people think that outward appearance doesn’t matter much but in reality it does! If you dress like poor, people will treat you like poor & if you dress like wealthy, people will assume you wealthy & treat accordingly. So learn style, class & create a unique personality
c) Always look confident & calm: Confidence & ‘grace under pressure’ are two magnetic traits that will attract people around you & motivate them to follow you.And the good news is that these traits are lernable. Anyone can learn it with some practice.

2) Your work is your loudest voice!
Your work is one of the best way to express your social intelligence. work that is solid not only project positive image, but also protects you from the political conniving & malevolence of others as it is hard to argue with the results you produce.
In spite of lots of external pressure if you don’t lose your mind, remain focused & speak through your work ,you will not only raise your skill, but also stand out among all  the others who make a lot noise but do nothing.

3) Suffer fools happily
The world is full of fools who are ruled by their ego & insecurities,& some of them will inevitably cross your road. The natural tendency to fools is to lower yourself to their level. They annoy you ,get under your skin, and draw you into a battle. In the process, you simply waste valuable time & emotional energy.
To deal with foolish you have to understand that we all have our own ego & foolishness. It is human nature.Seeing this foolishness in yourself, can help you to accept it in others. It is all part of the human comedy, & it is nothing to get upset about or lose sleep over.
The key here is to keep a steady eye on your goal & what is important, & ignore the fools.

By internalizing all these traits you will be better equipped to deal with the world & get on the fast track to success.

How to fill the gap of school/college education & enhance your value in the market place:The 3+1 Magic skills!

There is a huge gap between what our education system teaches us and what we actually need to learn to get success in the present fast changing world. Our school teaches us by rote & judge students on the basis of their memorizing power. The better the one’s mugging power the better the report card!.But  when we go outside of the school/college premises we will face altogether a different reality. No one is going to give you a job solely on the basis of how well you can memorize certain data or some facts. The things that you have leaned over several years by burning midnight oil & spending lot of money have very little use if not useless!
Our schools are good if you want to become university professor or want to go in some very selected profession like medical or engineering & that too if you want to spend whole of your life in doing that same thing! For rest of us it’s not worth.
